Frequently Asked Questions

There are two ways to do this:

• Log in to School Bytes, click on the absence and write your explanation. 
• Call or email the school office - be sure to include your child's name, the date of the absence and your explanation for the absence. 

Justified reasons for absences can be found here. You must provide an explaination for why your child was absent within 7 days of the absence. Absences without justification after 7 days will be marked as 'unexplained.'

Break times are: 

• Crunch and Sip: approx 10:00am for 10-15 minutes
• Recess: 11:00 - 11:20am
• Eating time (in classrooms): 1:05 - 1:20pm
• Lunch: 1:20 - 2:00pm

The school gates are open from 7:00am - 9:30am in the morning and from 2:30pm - 3:20pm in the afternoon. 

Entry to the school during school hours is via the Foss St gate near FLASCA - this gate is open from 7:00am until 6:00pm. 

Students are not encouraged to bring phones or smart watches to school.

If students do bring their phone or smart watch to school, it must be dropped into the box in the office when students arrive.

Students can collect their phone or watch from the office at 3:00pm.

Contact the school office or your child's classroom teacher if you need help accessing Seesaw. 

School reports are published on Sentral, paper copies are no longer sent home.

Login to Sentral to view report. 

Families are encouraged to holiday or travel during school vacations.

If travel outside of school vacation periods is necessary and of 6 or more days, families are required to complete and submit an Extended Leave Form prior to departure. 

You will need to complete and submit the Authority to give medications form.
