Rainbow Club

Rainbow Club est. Term 3 2023

Forest Lodge Public School's Rainbow Club was established after consultation with students, staff and our community. It is a safe, inclusive space for LGBTQIA+ students and allies. 

Rainbow Club meets once per week. At meetings, students:

  • plan whole school events that support and  celebrate difference and diversity
  • read stories
  • engage with peers
  • brainstorm fundraising ideas
  • celebrate being yourself

In 2023, the Rainbow Club organised an extremely successful Wear It Purple Day, raising money for a local youth LGBTQIA+ charity.
